We have a fabulous Countdown to Christmas coming up this December at the BFree Youth Cafe! The young people that attend the cafe have come up with all sorts of fantastic festivities and wonderful ways to make Christmas special for everyone in the community.
Monday 3rd December – We are getting into the Christmas spirit by making Christmas hampers for the homeless, in partnership with Leatherhead Start, who will distribute the hampers to some of their service users, hopefully bringing some Christmas cheer.
Tuesday 4th – We have a creative craft session making Christmas stockings (with plenty of space in them)!
Wednesday 5th – Competitions with Santa! Challenge Santa to a game of pool, session Fortnite together or match up on Fifa, or anything else you can think of! Press ups? Mince pie eating?
Thursday 6th – #WorldChangers! Come and see us in the Swan Centre where we have a stall and will be serving out hot chocolate, marshmallows, and heroes to weary Christmas shoppers!
Friday 7th – Baking competition – we will be making some very structurally sound gingerbread houses, to take home and demolish 🙂
Monday 10th – We will again be making Christmas hampers, but this time for Princess Alice Hospice in Esher!
Tuesday 11th – We have a special craft session making sparkly Christmas decorations for some late additions to the tree!
Wednesday 12th – Competitions with Santa! Challenge Santa to something you didn’t challenge him at last week! Maybe speed eating yule logs or juggling reindeers? Or just ask him about his career decisions.
Thursday 13th – #WorldChangers Come and visit us again at our stall in the Swan Centre for some warming hot chocolate and some late Christmas present ideas!
Friday 14th – Baking competition! Creating and decorating chocolate logs with a twist, theming them to be both delicious and aesthetically challenged.
