LYP goes to Parliament!

This week we had the privilege of being invited to a FullSizeRender 5Parliamentary Reception by the Lloyds Bank Foundation. The event, held at the House of Commons, was for small and medium sized charities working within disadvantaged communities.

Joe Crome attended the event and had a great time networking with other charities and MPs, as well as being able to spend time with Minister for Civil Society, Rob Wilson MP.

This was our first invite to Parliament and it’s fantastic to celebrate the work we do with lots of like minded organisations. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the Lloyds Bank Foundation who have recently provided us with a 2 year grant for our work with young people in Leatherhead and Mole Valley.

We are always looking for volunteers who can help us with the work we do.

Suitable volunteers will need to be able to relate young people and build positive relationships with them. Please contact us for a role description and to talk more about this if you are interested in volunteering.
