LYP has a great history of working with local businesses to strengthen our work and support local young people. We are particularly thankful to Exxonmobil and Wates who have supported us with funding LYP and Allsaints Coffee Shop.
There are many ways in which your business can get involved with
– Making a donation to a project we run.
– Holding a fund-raising event for us
– Providing volunteers to our projects.
– Running ‘Team’ days with LYP, decorating or maintaining our premises.
– Helping create or find apprenticeship opportunities for local young people.
Please contact us if you would like to find out more.
Your donation will go straight into helping us run projects for local young people. For example:
If you would like to make a donation towards our work, you can do so using the following methods:
Online: You can use our JustGiving account to donate to us online.
Standing order: If you would like to set up a monthly donation by standing order please use the LYP Standing Order Mandate, which can be completed and returned to us at the address at the foot of this page. Alternatively, you can do it using online banking quoting the bank details on the LYP Standing Order Mandate.
By Post: Send a donation to Leatherhead Youth Project Ltd, AllSaints Coffee Shop, Kingston Road, Leatherhead, KT22 7BT
If you are a taxpayer please take an extra minute to complete the LYP Gift Aid Declaration which will enable us to claim back the basic rate tax you’ve paid on your donation. This means your donation of £100 will actually be worth £125.
We always welcome help with fundraising. We have previously benefitted from individuals completing sponsored events on our behalf, such as Runs and Triathlons. We love hearing of creative ideas for raising money so please let us know if you have an idea.
If you would like to raise funds for us, please contact us to discuss this further.
We are always looking for volunteers who can help us with the work we do with local young people.
Some of our current opportunities:
BFree Youth Café – We are looking for volunteers to help staff BFree Youth Cafe one afternoon each week from 3:15pm-6:15pm. Suitable volunteers will need to be able to relate to young people and build positive relationships with them. Volunteers will be subject to DBS checks and references, and will be given Safeguarding Training annually.
Total Football – Total Football is a friday night football league for young people aged 11-16. We need volunteers to help us referee the games (no experience or qualification necessary!) and to set up equipment. Total Football won the High Sheriff of Surrey Youth Project of the Year in 2014, and a National Crimebeat Commendation in 2015.
Please contact us for a role description and to talk more about this if you are interested in volunteering.
Your donation will go straight into helping us run projects for local young people.
An example of how your donation will help...

£100 pays for 6 One to One counselling sessions with a local young person!
£500 covers one young person on our yearly Romania trip, helping run an activity camp for local gypsy children!af
We are recruiting for volunteers now! Volunteers help us deliver almost everything we do.
