LYP has a great history of working with local businesses to strengthen our work and support local young people. We are particularly thankful to Exxonmobil and Wates who have supported us with funding LYP and Allsaints Coffee Shop.
There are many ways in which your business can get involved with
– Making a donation to a project we run.
– Holding a fund-raising event for us
– Providing volunteers to our projects.
– Running ‘Team’ days with LYP, decorating or maintaining our premises.
– Helping create or find apprenticeship opportunities for local young people.

If you would like to make a donation towards our work, you can do so using the following methods:
Online: You can use our JustGiving account to donate to us online.
Standing order: If you would like to set up a regular donation by standing order please use the LYP Standing Order Mandate, which can be completed and returned to us at the address at the foot of this page. Alternatively, you can do it using online banking quoting the bank details on the LYP Standing Order Mandate.

If you are a taxpayer please take an extra minute to complete the LYP Gift Aid Declaration which will enable us to claim back the basic rate tax you’ve paid on your donation. This means your donation of £100 will actually be worth £125.
We always welcome help with fundraising. We have previously benefitted from individuals completing sponsored events on our behalf, such as Runs and Triathlons. We love hearing of creative ideas for raising money so please let us know if you have an idea.

Volunteer at our Youth Projects
We have a range of projects that you can get involved with, from our afternoon youth cafes to our evening projects. Volunteering would involve helping set up and set down projects, getting involved with the sessions as well as being another role model for local young people. If you have ever thought about volunteering with young people then do get in touch, we would love to meet you and talk more about our current opportunities.
Volunteer your skills
It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to provide the range of support we offer. We are always on the look out for skilled individuals who would like to volunteer their time for us. In the past we have benefited from accredited accountants, IT knowledge , photographers as well as local trades people. If you would like to volunteer with us using your experience and skills then please do get in touch to find out more.
